The famed Spanish olive oil will have a significant presence at the event
Madrid, April 24, 2017.
From today until Thursday, April 27, the Spanish capital hosts the thirty-first edition of the Salon de Gourmets, a professional fair for quality food and drinks organized by the Gourmets Group exclusively for professionals in the sector. Olive oil, in all its varieties, being one of the most outstanding products of Spanish cuisine, will be in different stands. INNOLIVA places value on meetings of this kind, as they represent an excellent opportunity to showcase the most valuable aspects of home cooking and encourage openness to new markets.
Specifically, this event exposes the most innovative and avant-garde products of the world gastronomy, and since 1992 is considered a reference meeting with an international character.
In this edition, the Salón de Gourmets has more than 1,600 exhibitors and 40,000 products distributed in different thematic areas, including the Wine Tunnel or the Gourmetequip, as well as gastronomic spaces and a large number of activities.
In terms of olive oil, the Oleoteca is the exclusive space for the exhibition of olive oils and will surely become an important meeting point for professionals in the sector in which to exchange impressions.
The Interprofessional of Spanish Olive Oil, an organization that brings together all the links in the oil production and marketing chain and among whose objectives is the promotion of the consumption of national liquid gold around the world, will recreate its own hotel establishment where his last campaign, which stands for the famous #Peeerdona starring Rossy de Palma, will be one of the protagonists.
In addition, the Salon de Gourmets has also been chosen for the official presentation of one of the latest innovations in this market, the Salt of EVOO, a product bathed in flakes and flavored in Extra Virgin Olive Oil.
INNOLIVA highlights the celebration of this international fair as an ideal occasion to discover new products, enjoy what we already know and also promote the olive cultivation culture and its expansion in the international market.
The company, which has its head office in Pamplona (Spain), owns more than 5,000 hectares of irrigated olive groves, located in Spain and Portugal, where the Mediterranean climate gives the olive tree the ideal environment for the development and maturation of the fruit; and it favors the obtaining of Extra Virgin Olive Oils with excellent sensory qualities.
With its production system, they guarantee the integral traceability of the entire process: from the olive tree to the final customer.
They make their Extra Virgin Olive Oil cold in the shortest time possible from the entrance of the olive in the oil mill. And they take care of the oil already produced to maintain their excellent sensory and healthy qualities as long as possible.
